I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings

Adapted from Maya Angelou's masterpiece, it chronicles Angelou's experiences from age three to the birth of her son. It was nominated for the 1970 National Book Award and is taught in classrooms far and wide.

Howl's Moving Castle, A New Musical

November 29 - December 30, 2017

A world-premiere production, with music and lyrics by Justin Huertas, the award-winning fantasy novel will come to life. 

The Maltese Falcon
by Dashiell Hammett
Adapted by Jane Jones and Kevin McKeon
February 7 - April 2, 2018

A world-premiere production, it is a theatrical culinary collaboration with Cafe Nordo in Pioneer Square. Adapted by one of the most popular detective novels ever written, it follows the private detective Sam Spade, who is on the case to recover a jewel-encrusted figurine.

The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao

A Young Audiences New York adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, it chronicles the life of an overweight Dominican boy growing up in New Jersey.
