'The Nutcracker' through the ages

Ever since its debut, in the Russian winter of 1892, Tchaikovksy's The Nutcracker has been a beloved piece of ballet theater. One of the most famous ballets in the world, and with some of the most recognizable classical music ever heard, it's performed every holiday by countless ballet companies. Here's a list of companies in Seattle playing it this year.
